Cemetery and Chevrah Kadisha

The JCC of Puerto Rico and its Share Zedeck Synagogue count with a fully staffed Chevra Kadisha. Both male and female groups are composed of devoted and compassionate volunteers that perform the Tahara or purification service with loving and utmost respect.

Funeral services are arranged by the Cemetery Committee in our longtime partner funeral home, which is fully prepared to provide services in compliance with the Jewish Law and tradition.

The Jewish Community Center of Puerto Rico has its own cemetery where our Spritual Director together with a group of knowledgeable volunteers perform the burial service according to Jewish law and tradition.
